Contest Regulations with Prizes

15th Edition of the International Conference for Students and PhD Students "Engineer of the 21st Century"

 § 1 General Provisions

1. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science of the Bielsko-Biała University of Technology is the organizer of the contest.
2. The contest is open to participants of the 15th edition of the International Conference for Students and PhD Candidates "Engineer of the 21st Century."
3. These regulations define the terms and conditions of participation in the contest.

 § 2 Eligibility for Participation

1. Any person participating in the 15th edition of the International Conference for Students and PhD Students "Engineer of the 21st Century" may take part in the contest.
2. Participants must comply with the contest regulations and be present at the conference and the prize draw.
3. Employees of the Bielsko-Biała University of Technology and conference sponsors are not eligible to participate in the contest.

  § 3 Registration for Participation

1. Registration for the contest is only possible on December 5, 2025.
2. Registration is done by collecting a coupon during conference registration.
3. The registration coupon must include a clearly written name and surname and must be placed in the designated ballot box at the registration area.
4. The participant must keep the part of the coupon containing the unique number that they placed in the ballot box until the prize draw takes place.
5. Each participant is allowed to enter the draw only once.

§ 4 Prize Draw and Collection of Prizes

1. The prize draw will be conducted transparently, on stage at Auditorium Maximum, and will be streamed online.
2. Prizes will be awarded based on the drawn numbers in accordance with the contest rules.
3. Prizes can only be collected in person on the day of the conference.
4. If a drawn participant is absent, the Organizer will conduct another draw and award the prize to a present participant.
5. Prizes are pre-determined and non-transferable.
6. The list of prizes and winners will be published on the conference website.

 § 6 Final Provisions

1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the contest in case of a violation of the regulations by participants.
2. By registering for the contest, participants agree to the processing of their personal data for contest-related purposes and consent to the publication of their image in photographs of the prize collection on the Bielsko-Biała University of Technology website and social media.
3. Any matters not covered by these regulations will be resolved by the contest organizer.
