On November 16, 2024, one of the largest international robotics competitions in Poland, XChallenge, took place in Rzeszów. The event, held annually, attracted teams from both Poland and abroad who competed in various categories: from dynamic robot battles to precise tasks in Task Hunters, and advanced obstacle courses in ROBO~motion. According to the organizers, this year's edition gathered over 500 engineers and constructors.

Our team, UBBRobotics, was represented by:

• Maksymilian Maślanka.

Our participants prepared the following robots:

• GIGAwonsz81 (sumo),
• Vulkan (sumo),
• ZbychSpych (minisumo),
• megawonsz9 (minisumo),
• magzowonsz (minisumo),
• Rycerz (minisumo),
• Andrzej Bodajże (microsumo).

The battles were intense. GIGAwonsz81 won all its matches in the group stage! Unfortunately, it lost in the final, securing an overall 3rd place.

The other robots also put up a brave fight, being eliminated only in the semifinals. In the microsumo category, our robot finished just shy of the podium.
