Workshop on Programming UR Robots

Data: 05.04.2025 Kategoria: Komunikaty

On April 4, 2025, a workshop on programming Universal Robots (UR) industrial robots was held, organized by the company Drim Robotics. The workshop was attended by students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, studying Automation and Robotics in their 4th and 6th semesters.

Drim Robotics is a dynamically growing company specializing in the design, integration, and programming of robotics and industrial automation systems. The company collaborates with both the educational and industrial sectors, carrying out research and development projects, providing training, and implementing Industry 4.0 solutions.

The aim of the workshop was to introduce students to the world of practical programming of UR robots, which are among the most commonly used robotic arms in production environments—particularly in pick-and-place applications, assembly, quality control, and packaging.

The workshop was entirely hands-on. Students worked in small groups directly at UR robot stations, which allowed them to independently program arm movements, test the prepared programs, and analyze system behavior in real time. Strong emphasis was placed on participant independence, error analysis, and solving technical problems.
