On Saturday, May 17, 2025, the RESET Student Research Group and the "Engineer of the 21st Century" Student Research Group from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Bielsko-Biała took part together in the Science Kick-Off – a science picnic held at Gemini Park Bielsko-Biała as a preview of the 25th Beskid Festival of Science and Art.

The event attracted many visitors, and the stands prepared by our student groups drew great interest.

The "Engineer of the 21st Century" group presented robot shows, including intense battles between autonomous robots in a dedicated arena, as well as a demonstration of the Tesla coil in action.

Meanwhile, the RESET group set up an interactive zone where guests could test original student-designed video games, try out VR goggles, and dive into virtual reality.

It was an intense, creative, and truly inspiring day. We're happy to have been part of this event and to show that science can be exciting, fun, and accessible to everyone.
