On March 26, 2025, academic staff from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Bielsko-Biala, together with students of Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Operation, and Production Engineering and Management, participated in a study visit to Kielce, where the international industrial trade fair Industrial Spring 2025 was held.

This annual event is one of the largest and most significant industrial technology exhibitions in Poland, attracting professionals, engineers, researchers, and students interested in manufacturing innovation and automation. The 2025 edition featured a wide range of advanced solutions and industry-specific technologies, including:

• state-of-the-art CNC machining centers, laser and plasma cutting systems (STOM-TOOL, STOM-BLECH & CUT, STOM-LASER),
• industrial robots and robotic welding workstations (STOM-ROBOTICS, STOM-ROBOTICS WELDING),
• additive manufacturing technologies, 3D printing and scanning solutions (3D Printing Days),
• automation systems, industrial control technologies, and electronic components (TEiA),
• pneumatic systems and control actuators (Pneumaticon),
• surface engineering technologies including galvanizing, coating, and industrial cleaning (Expo-SURFACE).

In addition to visiting exhibition areas and technical presentations, the delegation engaged in discussions with representatives of manufacturing and automation companies. These interactions provided valuable insights into current trends, technological advancements, and potential avenues for academic–industry collaboration.

For students, the fair was an opportunity to explore real-world implementations of modern engineering systems and gain practical exposure to technologies shaping Industry 4.0.
