On 13-14.10.2023r. the XChallenge International Robot Competition was held, organised by Rzeszów University of Technology, the Foundation for Education Support at the Aviation Valley Association, the Rzeszów IT Group, RoboLAB Local Stem Incubator and the Podkarpackie branch of the Polish Informatics Society. This is one of the largest robotics competitions in Poland!

The competitors competed against each other in 17 events, including the most spectacular ones like Sumo and Smash Bots. Our UBB Robotics (formerly ATH Robotics) team, consisting of: Damian Pytka, Maksymilian Maślanka, Bartłomiej Bieniek, Jacek Rysiński - representing the Scientific Circle "Engineer of the 21st Century" won the following awards:

• Second place (silver) in the Sumo category,
• Fourth place in the MicroSumo category.

We narrowly missed out on higher places. We are not giving up! We know what we have to improve! Another trip is coming soon - this time to the Technical University of Łódź for the Sumo Challenge competition!
