On April 5th, 2025, the international robot competition EastROBO 2025 was held at Bialystok University of Technology. This year's edition gathered an impressive number of participants – 150 teams from various countries took part in the competition, presenting over 220 robots in total. Nearly 200 competitors participated in the event.

Our university and faculty were represented by the UBBRobotics team, composed of members of the "Engineer of the 21st Century" Student Research Group. The competition proved to be very challenging, with some categories even being cancelled. Nevertheless, UBBRobotics achieved notable success, winning:

• 3rd place in the Microsumo category (robot: Andrzej Rozmaryn),

• 4th place in the Minisumo category (robot: megawonsz9).

As part of their preparations, the team designed and built the following robots:

Participation in EastROBO 2025 was an excellent opportunity to test practical skills, exchange experiences, and promote both the faculty and the university on the international stage.
